Roleplaying Rules

Ok, rules for this section:

1. No God-moding or power-playing (having invincible characters or controlling other people's characters).

2. Try to avoid having perfect characters- all characters have flaws.

3. Human characters and pokemorph (half human, half pokemon) characters are acceptable. As far as pokemorphs go, keep it so that the pokemorph only has DNA of ONE pokemon. Also, no legendary morphs or ditto morphs.

4. Do not roleplay as canon characters- be creative and come up with characters of your own, not based off of ones that already exist- unless the creator of the roleplay is okay with canons.

5. You cannot roleplay with a character until it is accepted by the creator of the role play thread.

6. Auto-hits or auto-kills are not acceptable- give the other person the opportunity to dodge the attack. Also, you cannot dodge every attack- keep in mind that most attacks will probably hit, unless the opponent has an extremely low accuracy.

7. Use proper english and punctuation in the roleplay. For example, don't use:

*runs towards charmander* a bad placeo, pokemon!

Instead, use:

"a bad placeo pokemon," said the young girl as she ran towards the Charmander.

8. Mild profanity is acceptable, but don't overuse it. Romance is okay in small doses- nothing sexually graphic.

9. Keep it appropriate. Remember that there will be people of many different age groups using this forum.

10. Try not to use one-liners. I know that people get writer's block sometimes, but try to type at least a good-sized paragraph whenever possible.

11. Roleplayers stick to the rules set by the creator of that particular role play thread.

Follow these and you won't get banned.

Eh, I think this section will have slightly different rules. These might not necessarily apply in all cases, since some rules are specific to Kanic region. The Other Roleplays aren't necessarily even pokemon related- it's just a free-roleplay zone.

Here's the changes I'd make for this section:

Get rid of 5.

6. You cannot roleplay with a character until it is accepted by the creator of the role play thread.

Ditch 7, 8, and 9, as well as 15-20.

The other rules would stay the same.

But also add that the roleplayers should stick to the rules set by the creator of that particular role play thread.
